John N. Muratides serves as General Counsel and Partner of Muratides Capital, where he provides legal oversight and strategic guidance across the firm’s acquisitions, developments, leasing, financing, and asset management activities.

For more than 43 years, John practiced law as a shareholder with Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A., one of Florida’s premier law firms. His experience includes purchase and sale agreements, commercial leasing, easements, title claims, financing transactions, commercial litigation, and the complex legal issues that arise throughout the life cycle of a real estate investment.

At Muratides Capital, John draws upon decades of experience to help structure transactions, negotiate agreements, identify and mitigate risk, and provide strategic legal counsel from acquisition through disposition. His practical approach, attention to detail, and extensive legal background help ensure that opportunities are pursued with both creativity and discipline.

John graduated with High Distinction from Ohio Northern University before earning his Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude in the top five percent of his class. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1981 and was formerly admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.

John is married and has two children. He enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren, maintaining an active lifestyle, and serving the community through volunteer work with Bay Area Legal Services and Meals on Wheels.
